IMC USA is the certifying body and professional association for management consultants and firms in the USA. The IMC USA mission is to promote excellence and ethics in management consulting through certification, education, and professional resources.

IMC USA awards the profession's internationally-recognized designation of the CMC^® (Certified Management Consultant™) and CMC Firm^™ (Certified Management Consulting Firm™). The CMC^®, attained by 10,000 individuals worldwide, acknowledges extensive experience, technical competence, peer reviews, client satisfaction, and oral and written examinations of and adherence to the IMC USA Code of Ethics. Similarly, the CMC Firm™ recognized those elite firms who meet the high global standards for competence, professionalism and ethics for the profession.

IMC USA activities are aimed at helping members improve their skills to deliver quality project at all times. Benefits include professional development, a public presence in business and management issues, and skill development and business networking through its Chapters.
