Describe the IMC USA Certification Process
The International Council of Management Consulting Institutes (ICMCI) is the global association of national management consulting institutes in 47 countries. ICMCI has developed standards for the process and awarding of the CMC designation. These documents describe the ISO/IEC 17024 conformity requirements for certification of individuals, ICMCI's competncy framework, eligibility requirements, certification process, and the roles and activities of the CMC Certification Committee, examination development, appeals, procedures for establishing an Accredited Consulting Practice and for CMC reciprocity. These standards, best practice for assessing CMC candidates qualifications and best practice for selecting assessment tools are ICMCI defined. IMC USA standards exceed the ICMCI standards.
