Background

Confab includes over 20 sessions, exhibits, networking and collaboration, all meals, and a photo directory with descriptions and contact information for all attendees. It is the only conference specifically developed by and for consultants. The intimacy of the conference is the perfect setting where consultants can make connections and do business. History

The first Confab get-together (called Western Mini-Confab to reflect its regional focus) was a one-day affair with 22 attendees. Now, the mighty peaks of the Sierra Nevada serve as the conference's majestic backdrop. In downtown Reno, Nevada, Confab plays host to hundreds of consultants from across the U.S. and Canada who ascend every year to this high-desert town to learn, network and sharpen their consulting wits.

Many professional conferences focus on strategy: not so at Confab. Here the emphasis is on tactics and practical application. Confab seeks speakers who are consultants themselves, because we've found the most effective presenters come from the trenches of consulting.
