Congratulations go to two of our own (from the Carolinas Chapter) who have attained their CERTIFIED MANAGEMENT CONSULTANT (CMC) appellation -- Dawn Rennick and Don Matheson, both were award their certification on May 21, 2010.

The quarterly meeting of the Carolinas Chapter was held on April 27, 2009 at Grandover Resort.  A totally different meeting for us, it was held in conjunction with the Triad Regional Partnership.  The dual-hosted event was held partly to demonstrate the collaboration tools brought by John Findley, of Zing Technologies, and his U.S. affliliate, Abby Stauss.  They not only demonstrated the hardware and software designed for group collaboration but also used it in assisting the Triad Regional Partnership develop a futuristic plan for economic development.

Rick Smyre, a Futurist, was the dinner speaker brought in by the Triad Regional Partnership and his presentation was certainly thought-provoking and, at the same time, challenging.
