How could you help your clients right now in ways they haven't sought your help thus far? What new problems do the bad times present to them that YOU could help them solve? Try inventorying your own skill sets and value propositions. You may have more to offer your client base, and thus more business opportunity for yourself, than you have been assuming.

Excellent advice. On the Information Services front, we are seeing many opportunities resulting from the current economy. In particular, with a clear strategy and plans, companies can better afford to invest in projects with clear ROI as vendors struggle to maintain sales volume and market share.
