The Institute of
Management Consultants New Jersey Chapter (IMC NJ) held a successful event,
conceived and moderated by Bill Dorman, with assistance from Joe Kowalski and
Loraine Kasprzak.
It was a hot and
cold buffet breakfast, followed by four Roundtables, running in parallel, with
four different themes and four different Knowledge Leaders.
After more than an hour of discussion at
each table, volunteers gave a summary of each table's highlights for the
remaining attendees.
The four
Roundtable leaders and their subjects were:
Kathleen
Kinka,
President
of
Aurora Management Consultancy Group
– Growth Strategies, who led the discussion on "Consulting Opportunities with Young Companies”
Mike
Martorella,
Founder
and CEO of MMI Communication – Executive Coaching, whose topic was
"
New Challenges to Executive Leadership”
Tim
Powell,
President
of The Knowledge Agency® - Competitive Intelligence, whose session was
entitled "
New Tools for Market Intelligence”
Jim
Seber, CMC,
President & CEO, Seber Logistics Consulting,
Inc.- Supply Chain and Operations
,
"
Delivery of Products in the 21st
Century”.
This event was
the first breakfast meeting held by IMC-NJ this year, it was the first
meeting held in Princeton, and of course, it was an unusual format.
We would very much like to hear from all of
our members as to their preferences in venue, in the time of day, and the
format.
We hope to see
many of you at our November 12th and December 10th
meetings, both being held at the Sheraton Edison at Raritan Center as evening
meetings including a light dinner and beverages.
We hope to make the December meeting a
festive event, concentrating on networking, on getting to know one another
better, and being entertained by motivational speaker Avish Parashar.
Let us know your
ideas on time, date, venue and meeting format as we plan the 2013
program.

Porcelli, at jvpii@jvporcelli.com.
