Loyalty and Commitment

"Actions speak louder than words” is a popular catchphrase for significant gestures of appreciation and very simply, we appreciate you being a member of IMC USA.

Recognizing that our members are our most valuable "clients,” I acknowledge that this tough economy forces all of us to carefully scrutinize all expenditures, even to organizations like ours, and I want to make you an offer as a loyal member of IMC USA.

If you renew your IMC USA membership by September 30, you will receive a 10 percent discount (just enter code LOYALTYDISCSEP on our websites online registration page). It’s our way of saying thanks and also because we really want you to continue as an involved member of your professional organization.

More selling, David. You start out genuine but then you go into that old selling mode. Why don't you demonstrate how IMC is of value? A client testimonial. A video? An audio clip? A story? I expect more from the most august body of consultants in the U.S.: we can be better than this.

I'll bite. I have been an IMC member since 1994. As of March 2010, I booked a cumulative $1 million worth of business through IMC member referrals, plus gave out just over half that amount in referrals to other IMC members. It is not the volume of business that is the point here, but that the IMC network provides me (both as recipient and provider) a trusted source of consultants (mostly CMCs) through whom I have been able to provide excellent value to clients. I continue to look first to the CMC network when I have engagements for which I do not have skills, hours or both.

George...I love your idea about a client testimonial, a video, an audio clip or a story! I looked at your profile and website...and I'm sure that you could contribute to the conversation of the value of IMC....I look forward to hearing about your experience with clients!
