To facilitate collaboration, the site offers a robust calendar and events  capability. Critical dates as well as chapter and national events are posted on community wide and group calendars. A main events calendar can be filtered (by a drop down menu) to see events for a selected chapter, the IMC USA Academy for professional development, conferences, and the Leadership Series. Each group (including chapters) may maintain its own calendar and choose to share or not its events with the community at large. The community calendar contains all events and dates posted (and designated for inclusion in the community calendar) and is available on the top right of every site page. Calendar and event capabilities include:

• Register for events online
• Purchase event tickets and items via credit card
• Pricing may differ for nonmember and member or by member type
  
• View event registration attendee lists and comments (if enabled by event administrator)
  
• Read comprehensive event information and details
• View event-specific photo galleries
• Receive email registration confirmation
• Receive reminder emails for registered events
• View and print event location map
• Read RSS event feeds RSS (subscription is available for the entire community calendar)
  
• Add events to Microsoft Outlook (through an ical export)
  
• Send event Tell-a-Friend alerts
• Access related products from the IMC USA Online Store (e.g., a book written by an author speaking at a chapter event)
