It's that time of year again; when we scout our membership for next year's new board. As Chairman of the Nominating Committee I wanted to take this opportunity to tell you a bit more about our board.
We generally operate with 9 or 10 voting board members, and are supported by our administrator Lacy Taylor. Each board member generally heads a Committee. We meet monthly to discuss and vote on key matters, and most committees execute some activities between board meetings. Most of the roles are pretty self explanatory.

- President - Jeff Thompson
- Secretary - Lorre Zuppan
- Marketing - Mike Levin
- Programs - Bart Gragg
- ABC Liaison - Luanne Stevenson
- Membership - Brian McKenzie
- Other positions are open
We've invested a lot of effort over the last few years, to build processes, and tools to support the work that we do. In my opinion, we've made several of the roles much more straight forward, and easier to pass forward from one Chair to the next.
The positions we currently have open for the 2010/11 board year are: Marketing, Programs, Sponsors/Affiliates, and Membership.
