June 18 The Psychology of a Good Practice
Psychology: the
study of the mind and how its functions affect behavior in given
contexts; mental and emotional factors governing situations or
activities.
In response to requests from EBCF members, seasoned certified management consultants Cox Ferrall CMC FIMC and Barbara Chan CMC,
with over 48 years of combined experience, will facilitate a discussion
about the psychology of running a good practice. Questions we'll
explore:
How do you decide who to work with?
What makes a good client?
How does your mental and/or emotional state affect how you manage the consultant-client relationship?
What if clients are resistant to advice?
When do you fire a client?
Cox Ferrall: An
old sales dog who spent a quarter century helping businesses turn around,
develop, and manage their sales programs, Cox
is well-known for his sales wisdom and helping clients close the gap
between marketing and sales. With great good humor, he's a member of
the "Sales Dogs" and hosts the IMC NorCal San Francisco Area Breakfast
for Consultants.
Clients hire
Barbara to cultivate authentic, socially responsible leadership and
collaborative organizations that get results. With extensive experience
working with people from many countries and cultures, a stint as
