Many companies, both those whose primary service is consulting services and those who are not consulting firms but who maintain internal consulting practices, seek an independent and objective standard of performance for their consultants. IMC USA offers the opportunity to accredit a company's internal training and development procedures as capable of training certification-ready consultants. A company whose skill development practices and ethical culture meet IMC USA standards may be designated an Accredited Consulting Practice and its consultants may then be qualified as CMCs. The standards and procedeures for achieving this level of recognition are described in this section.
