Certification is an event to demonstrate an individual's ability to meet minimal standards of techical competence, professional behaviors and ethics. However, the path to certification and the lifelong commitment to professional development beyond the certification event call for continued access to resources to continue that learning, skill development and cultivation of professional behaviors in dealing with colleagues, client and the public.
