Founded in 1987, the International Council of Management Consulting Institutes (ICMCI) is the global association of national management consulting institutes from around the world. These national institutes administer, in accordance with world class standards, the international "CMC" certification Certified Management Consultant earned by individual professional management consultants.

Today, ICMCI is made up of member institutes from 50 nations, with more than 50,000 individual members and almost 10,000 CMCs. IMC USA is represented in ICMCI deliberations by several trustees confirmed by the national Board of Directors. The current IMC USA Lead ICMCI Trustee is Clint Burdett CMC.

To become a participant of ICMCI, the individual consultant must first be a member of the Institute represented by ICMCI in his or her country, or if none exists, then in another country in the region. IMC USA is a charter member of ICMCI. Learn more about ICMCI.
