IMC USA plans to make available the following types of resources for its members and consultants to management (some resources will be available to members only). These activities will be implemented as resources and volunteer staff are available, planned over the 2005-2007 period:

IMC USA Academy for Professional Development - Provide members the opportunity to link to and enroll in skill and knowledge building teleseminars, electronic courses and classroom seminars produced and presented by credible universities, consultants, trainers, member consultants, associations, IMC USA developers, chapters and member institutes of ICMCI.

Special Interest Group Professional Newsletter/Journal - Publication of member articles that are geared to better understanding of, or to create a dialogue on issues of interest to other members of the Institute or members of a special interest group.

Professional Opportunities Bulletin Board - This web-based Consultant Exchange is designed to enhance the IMC USA website for active members by providing postings of assignment opportunities and member availability (initially implemented as the IMC USA Job Board, eventually parts of it will be members only).

Consultant Links - A web-based program designed to enhance the IMC USA website for active members by providing helpful internet links to consulting and practice management tools and other practical resources.

Body of Knowledge—Electronic Course - This course, successfully produced and presented at a recent IMC USA National Conference, will be developed in an electronically delivered webinar or a self-tutorial. This course prepares candidates for the CMC to take the Body of Knowledge portion of the certification exam.

Certification Tutorial - After the Certification committee completes their work on the new certification and certification renewal processes, IMC USA will prepare a tutorial for prospective candidates for certification.

Chapter Program Archive - The Program Archive will give chapter program officers a repository for programs presented at their chapter so other chapters can get ideas for new programs for their chapters.

Support for Chapter Professional Education Chairs - Through monthly teleconferences, we will keep up-to-date with chapter professional education efforts all over the country. We will act as a resource to chapter Professional Education chairs, helping them with ideas and planning advice and learning from them what our membership would like to see in National’s professional education or knowledge program.
