Submit an Ethics Case Study |
CMCs may submit an ethics case study as part of the certification renewal process. These cases benefit both the individual preparing the case as well as others reading the cases. Members wishing to submit a case study should follow the following guidelines:
- Cases should address some element of the IMC USA Code of Ethics (please indicate which section(s) of the Code the case refers to)
- IMC USA prefers that cases relate to an situation actually or potentially faced by the author
- A well written case defines the context and background of the situation, the ethical dilemma created by the situation, alternative approaches to resolving this dilemma, considerations appropriate for a consultant or client to resolve this situation, and teh implications of teh course of action selected.
- Cases should be between 500 and 1000 words
Cases may be submitted for education purposes alone or for certification renewal. Please indicate whether or not you wish submit this for certification renewal and send a Word document to ethics@imcusa.org.
