Consultants Roundtable and 2011 Business Accelerator

Join us for a facilitated working session on tuning up your practice for 2011. Instead of listening to a single speaker address a single topic of interest, this session is all about you. New factors affect your ability to sell your services and you can now use the power of the IMC NCR network to really accelerate your business. Expect to get out of this session what you put into it.

For those of you in smaller practices, we will work through a consulting practice planning process to give you tangible 2011 objectives and strategies and hook you up with the full complement of IMC resources to help you deliver on that plan.

We'll advise you on how to respond to clients who ask you about the new ISO certification for management consultants and what our four focus groups of buyers of client services now want from consultants. You may be surprised and want to reconsider your marketing approach.

If getting and delivering on consulting business is your top priority, then this is the session you want to make time for.CONFAB 2010 is almost here. The largest and oldest conference for and by management consultants in the US will build your skills, your network and your business. Find out about our new international recognition of the CMC and how certification of management consultants is the new standard of excellence for independent as well as large firm consultants.

This is not a talking head session. It is a working session to deliver four specific benefits for your a consulting practice:
  1. A 2011 practice business plan that clarifies your business objectives and strategies. IMC members will also get support from and access to IMC resources to help you reach those objectives, including an accountability check-in next summer.  
  2. An understanding of how to leverage the new ISO certification of the CMC and what it means for both CMCs and non CMCs. We'll provide access to marketing materials and insights into what this means to clients.  
  3. Results of recent focus groups on what clients want from consultants and what is less important to them, including some surprising results.  
  4. Sharing of what seemed like some "great ideas" that aren't working, those ideas we thought would be solid services that just never got any traction - and some feedback on how to make them work.
