Join us on Tuesday, January 18, to learn about new computational technologies at Chapman University for:

  • Accurate weather forecasting
  • Ocean wave forecasting
  • Decision support for California hazards like fires and earthquakes

In addition to learning about the computer and observation systems that have been installed at Chapman to address challenges that face society, we will have the chance to look at changes in Chapman's science program that have attracted world-renowned scientists, such as quantum physicist Yakir Aharonov, a 2010 recipient of the President's National Medal of Science. Knowing the opportunities available for research and collaboration with the Schmid College of Science at Chapman will be helpful to consultants who work with engineering and technology companies and have a need for technical experts.

Those interested in networking may proceed to one of the many restaurants adjacent to the university.ose interested in networking may proceed to one of the many restaurants adcent to the university.
