Your Great Big Business Card is a book that showcases You as an Expert
But of course the million dollar questions are
'How Do I Find Time to Write a Book?' and
'What Do I Write About?'
This month we will continue to focus on the different forms of writing in order to position yourself as an expert and win more business. This month we will talk about writing a book. Jim Queen is a consultant just like you and me. A few months ago he decided to write a book about his consulting services in which he counsels owners who are interested in selling their companies.
Jim will discuss
- Making the decision to write the book
- Getting started and organized
- Deciding on and organizing the content
- Finding the resources
- Staying focused
- Publishing the finished manuscript
- Using the book to get business
Jim will also provide the resources he used to help him in his quest to become a published author.
So if you have thought about writing a book and feel overwhelmed by what it will take, Jim will show you the path he used and how easy it was to get organized, make progress and complete his book in a reasonable timeframe.
Even if you are only curious about how a book comes to being, this will be a great opportunity to learn how one of us did what we all feel is almost impossible.
Maybe you will make 2011 the year you published your book and capture more business!.
