The SFV-Area Breakfast meetings occur normally on the 3rd Friday of each month from 7:30 - 9:00 a.m. Networking starting at 7:15 am September, through June each year.

Great leaders and consultants are great story makers.

Stories are powerful; they influence how people think and behave. The stories you tell about a new idea, product or service are vital to your success or failure. Do your stories engage people? Make them care? Then move them to take action?

How much time do you spend improving your story? Most people spend more time getting their car tuned up than tuning up their stories--stories which are critical to their success.

In this session Bob Dickman, executive coach and co-author of "The Elements of Persuasion; Use Storytelling to Pitch Better, Sell Faster and Win More Business", will discuss:

  • Using the five story-making tools
  • Developing authentic emotion
  • Making your message memorable
  • Building self-confidence
  • Having more fun with your message

We all know of stories that others have told during a sales presentation that may have moved us or others to action. If you have wondered how to create an effective story yourself, then this is the meeting to attend. You can use stories in writing, sales presentations and even your brief introductions.

Become an effective story teller so you can become a more effective consultant!

Invest 90 minutes in your business this month! Attend the IMC SFV Breakfast meeting on Friday, Mar 18, 2011 from 7:30 - 9 am (networking begins at 7:15 am) .
