In September, IMC AZ is bringing in a panel of experts to provide us consultants with ideas to strengthen and spark movement in our client companies. In other words, our panelists will share new tools and techniques to jump-start stagnant clients:

Operational ideas.

Panelist - Joel Strom, CMC
Growth Management Consultant
602-276-303, http://www.joelstrom.com/

Joel will discuss ways to increase the value of your clients' businesses; the ultimate in value-based consulting. If you can increase the value of your client's business in this economy, they win and you win.

Bio: Joel Strom brings nearly 40 years of business management and consulting experience to his clients. His experiences range from mid-sized entrepreneurial companies to Fortune 500 corporations as an engineer, manager, executive, business owner, and consultant. After beginning his career with large corporations, his entrepreneurial drive moved him to purchase a small manufacturing company. Joel expanded his entrepreneurial passion and changed that company from a tired job shop to an exciting manufacturing company that grew at a 40% annual rate. With the sale of that manufacturing company, he founded Joel Strom Associates to help the owners of other growing businesses successfully harness and expand on their entrepreneurial passion to reach their growth objectives and build real value.

Financial ideas.

David C. Monroe, CPA

As a leader of his own company and an association of local manufacturer's, Dante will share personnel issues of importance to business owners and techniques to use with your employees to strengthen retention and productivity.

Bio: Dante is owner and president of Nichols Precision, and the current Vice President of the ATMA. He has more than 35 years of executive-level business management, entrepreneurial small-business ownership and consulting practice experience. Following 10 years of USAF piloting experience during the Viet Nam era, Dante stepped into government contracts and business development roles with large aerospace companies mostly within the Washington DC environment. His experience ranges from operational management to international sales and marketing. Garnering valuable corporate expertise over the years, he then launched Ascenso Development Group and provided business development consulting services for companies as diverse as providers of consumer goods to industrial products. In 2007 he decided to return to his aerospace roots and acquired Nichols Precision, a manufacturer of mission critical components for the aerospace and defense markets.

Each panelist will have 10 to 15 minutes to present a proven client concept or two. Immediately following, IMC Programming Co-Chair Ted Szaniawski will facilitate an audience Q&A.
