The Problem: Have you ever been blindsided by personal attacks while you’re trying to help move a client to the next level? Has a leader ever wanted to implement your ideas but your plans and advice seem to fall into a black hole? Too often, our clients think they need better vision, systems or processes, but what is really sabotaging their efforts are poor attitudes and behaviors. Also, our consulting solutions get sabotaged during development or during implementation. The best plans we develop are only pieces of paper; the difference between making them failures or successes are the people involved.

The Solution: Help Your Clients Eliminate the High Cost of Low Attitudes In this presentation, you will learn to: • Recognize when the underlying problem you have to deal with is not a lack of good vision, systems or processes, but is low attitudes that are sabotaging your efforts to help your client. • Recognize the Early Warning Signs of overt bullies and subtle, sneaky, stealthy, covert manipulators, turf-builders, control-freaks, boundary pushers, back-stabbers, Queen/King Bees, bottom-feeders, conflict-avoiders and bullies who will try sabotage your and your clients’ best efforts. • Overcome the 5 major reasons clients won’t deal effectively with this problem. • Get your clients on-board and to enroll or isolate and circumvent staff at all levels so your consulting can be successful. • Help your clients set high standards without odious emotional confrontations despite resistance and sabotage. • Convert "attitudes” to measurable behavior so your clients can act legally to change attitudes and behavior or to remove people who won’t change. • Sell and use an extensive implementation phase to help your clients through their "moments of truth.”

PRESENTER: Ben Leichtling, Ph.D. Speaker, Coach, Consultant, Author Syndicated columnist for the Denver Business journal/American City Journals
