Advanced Topics in Management Consulting
New Markets, New Opportunities
Join us for the IMC Breakfast Meeting, where three of our very own master consultants will lead the discussion on topics that will help you identify opportunities you may not have known existed. This is not Consulting 101. Instead it will be a discussion led senior consultants who themselves are finding new ways to advance their craft in today’s world – with cutting edge strategies. The discussion will be open, and will provide much food for thought for both experienced and new consultants.
Chris Witt CMC® – Intellectual Property: You Create It. Why not take advantage of it?
Management Consultants typically develop their own unique ways of helping their clients. Their approaches and techniques may be proprietary and create Intellectual Property. However, busy consultants may fail to take advantage of this value they have developed. Chris will lead a discussion about how we can make the best use of our intellectual property 1) to attract new clients, and 2) to develop an ongoing source of passive income.
Clint Burdett CMC® – Create Your Own Webinars
There are a number of high tech tools and techniques available today. Many consultants don’t know how to use them, and therefore may miss out on opportunities for generating new business. Short webinars are now easy to make and easier to edit. Clint will describe three valuable resources: Webex, WebinartoGo and Camtasia. These allow you to create Webinars by first recording the screen. Then you can edit, correct mistakes, and quickly create a polished presentation.
John Bryan CMC® – New Markets: New Opportunities
Through their experience and connections, consultants may come upon new opportunities, new partnerships, taking them in different directions – but also exposing them to unfamiliar markets and clientele. John is currently engaged in setting up a new area for his consulting practice, and will lead the discussion of ways to identify and engage new clients in new markets.
