Subcontracting Principles for
Management Consultants

With Pete Crosby, CMC, Principal of CGR Management Consultants

A good way to expand your consulting practice is to team up as subcontractor with a well-established consulting firm, which will act as the prime contractor. Other consultants can be a major source of business for you -- but you must become known to them and meet certain expectations.

To learn the ins and outs of subcontracting for consultants, join us at our IMC OC breakfast meeting on September 13 as Pete Crosby, CMC and Principal of CGR Management Consultants, shares his experiences and insights as both a contractor and a subcontractor. Topics will include:

  • Why large consulting firms need subcontractors
  • What large consulting firms look for in a subcontractor
  • How to become known as a resource for other consulting firms
  • Do and don'ts of carrying out subcontracting assignments
  • Legal problems and how to avoid them
  • Contractual clauses that protect both sides
  • Billing principles that have proven to work
  • And a lot more...
Don't miss this practice-building meeting, which will give you new insights and will also a great networking experience with your fellow consultants in the greater Orange County area.
