Applying the IMC Code of Ethics in Business: An Overview, By Lauren Bloom

Core Competency focus area of Professionalism and Ethics, Early level
$29 for IMC USA Members, $79 for non-Members
What kind of ethical issues do consultants frequently face, and how does IMC's Code of Ethics apply to them?  Using examples and cases from real-life situations, this session provides an overview of the IMC Code and explains what consultants need to do when ethical challenges arise.
At the end of the session, you'll know what your obligations under IMC's Code of Ethics are, and have a better understanding of how to set and maintain high ethical standards in your business.
Lauren Bloom is a Washington, D.C. attorney who speaks, writes and consults on ethics and responsible litigation risk management.  She is also the author of the award-winning book, "The Art of the Apology -- How to Apologize Effectively to Practically Anyone."  She serves on the national board of IMC USA as an outside director.  For more information about Lauren, visit
