Event Description:

Every day we work with people from different cultural backgrounds with the accompanying challenges and opportunities. If handled well, these interactions can lead to increased productivity, improved performance, innovation and progress.  If poorly managed, they may lead to misunderstandings, mistakes, antagonistic feelings and lost opportunities.

Through a discussion of cultural differences, attendees will begin to understand how these differences influence business and social interactions. Participants will gain a preview of the important skills that promote effective working relationships with employees, clients, team members and others from different cultures.  Topics include:

A three-step model for cross cultural communication effectiveness.

Comparisons of US business communications with those in other cultures.

Suggestions for creating success in cross cultural situations.

Our speakers, Suzanne and Carol, provide a highly interactive session with many practical examples and anecdotes. You will find the presentation is lively, quick-paced and highly informative.
