Engagement Letters:
Laying the Foundation for a Consulting Project

Jerry Savin, CEO of Cambridge Technology Consulting Group

Win a consulting engagement, then what? Typically our next step is to write an engagement letter, a document that describes our consulting services to the client. What should this document contain? Are there things we might decide not to include? Is this a "legal” document? Does it establish an appropriate foundation for our services? There are a wealth of questions that need to be answered about these letters.

Join us on Thursday, December 13, to learn more about successful engagement letters. Our presenter will be Jerry Savin, who has 30 years of experience in consulting and has held the highest positions of the Institute of Management Consultants (IMC) at the chapter, national and international levels. Topics to be covered will include:

  • What to include and what to leave out
  • Consultants expectations of our clients
  • Clients expectations of their consultants
  • Different arrangements to consider
  • And a lot more...

All are welcome, not just IMC members. This will not only be a great learning experience about engagement letters, but also an opportunity for you to network with consultants and other self-employed professionals in the Greater Orange County area. Bring your questions on how to define successful consulting engagements.
