Authors and Writers:
We will hold our monthly Get Published! Writers' SIG meeting on each third Wednesday at the City of Beaverton Library, 12375 SW 5th Street, Room A or B, Beaverton, OR.
This is for serious writers wishing to increase their output. Aspiring writers are welcome. If you have author friends you can forward this or bring them along.
Optionally, bring food or a snack to share -- and RSVP -- this session is limited to 12 people.PURPOSE of the group -- to use Toastmasters techniques to help IMC members (and others) create written works for publishing -- everything from thought leadership articles to case studies to brochures to web copy. If you have a writing assignment, we'll help you move it toward completion.
Actively engaged participants may have their work selected by Tom Cox, our marketing chair, for submission to the new Consultants' Corner feature of Oregon Business Magazine.
We keep a very tight agenda, which respects everyone's time and maximizes each participant's ability to get value -- please arrive 15 minutes early.
