A brief bio of our panelists includes:
Pascale Nicolet is Director of TOPperformance, a strategy and organizational performance consulting firm. She helps clients to shape strategy, and to build highly effective organizations as a foundation for strong, profitable, and sustainable growth. She is also involved with A-Connect, a global network of top-tier consulting talent with McKinsey & Company, BCG, and Bain backgrounds. Pascale has made a significant contribution to networking and professional development in Houston by founding and leading the Wharton-Rice MBA Group, a monthly networking group designed to help MBA grads from any institution connect and find professional opportunities in Houston. She holds an MBA from The Wharton School and a BA from Drew University.
Marie Bergeron is Director, Career Development - Experienced Hires at Rice’s Jones Graduate School of Business, where she was formerly Director, Admissions Development, MBA for Executives Program. She has also had her own Executive Coaching and Development consulting company since 1983. Marie has proven expertise in management development and coaching and is recognized nationally for her skills in Public Speaking , Strategic Planning and Career Development. She holds an MBA from Harvard and a BS and M.Ed from LSU. At Rice she is known as the "Chief Networking Officer".
Johnny Zilliacus is recognized in the Houston business community as a hands-on leader with a broad experience in sales, marketing, product development, manufacturing and distribution in an international environment. He co-chairs the Houston M&A forum, part of CEO Netweavers, a long standing and highly successful networking group for people interested in the M&A process to dialog, build trusted relationships, and practice servant leadership. Relations formed within this group have resulted in many millions of dollars worth of transactions. He holds the BA (Econ.), Strategy and Management from Hanken School of Economics.
Bonnie Karpay is an internationally known author and networker, who has developed methods to provide powerful introductions among business owners. The secret is her focus on building genuine relationships with the people in her network, understanding not only their business offering but also the unique personalities of the individuals. She has decades of experience in sales and business consulting and has identified five areas that help professionals develop and maintain authentic business relationships that drive business and personal growth.
