Lamar Smith
former CEO, First Command

A decorated attack pilot during Viet Nam, Lamar Smith spent 7 years rising in the ranks, 7 years as President/COO and 15 years as CEO/Chairman of the Board of First Command Financial Services, a Fort Worth-based firm serving the needs of military officer families.

During Smith’s leadership tenure, annual revenues grew from $48 million to $210 million, and profit grew from $6.1 million to $31 million, at a rate─14.7%─nearly four times the industry average.

Beyond Project Management

Getting Outcomes and Business Results that CEOs Value

What could your business glean from a CEO’s stories?

Lamar Smith, former CEO, recounts

  • Success lessons from a project resulting in annual sales gains of $40 million
  • Hard lessons on software vendors, litigation, dos and don’ts
  • What effective systems, processes and projects look like
  • What effective project managers and consultants look like

Attend this forum to

  • Get your questions about CEO-thinking into the conversation
  • Turn CEO-thinking into performance that wins and sustains consulting engagements
  • Increase value and profit of project outcomes and business results through CEO-thinking

Bring your ideas to the debate and leave with new tools for strategic collaboration with CEOs.

Register Now and plan to bring guests.
They’ll surely thank you for it.
