With Joe Herold, SVP, Human Resources
Rentech, Inc. / Rentech Nitrogen PartnersC
Joe Herold was a long-time senior Human Resources executive when he started a consulting business in 2007 and took a lead role in IMC’s southern California chapter. In late 2011, he accepted an offer to return to the corporate world to lead the HR function for Rentech, Inc., and Rentech Nitrogen Partners, L.P., two publicly traded companies with a combined market cap of approx. $1.7B.
Joe went from calling on Corporate executives and other prospective clients, back to a role in which he and his peers make decisions regarding potential consulting services to buy and consultants with whom to partner. Joe has agreed to join us for our May breakfast meeting to share thoughts and insights, from "both sides of the fence”, on marketing and successfully delivering consulting services, including:
- Persistence vs. Annoyance in marketing to corporate clients
- The importance of "presence” and "fit”
- Completing the work – key ingredients in building a sustaining relationship and future work
