The workshop has been designed from input sollicited from fellow consultants on their greatest perceived risks, problems and concerns. This input provides focus and 'connection' to real, practical issues for the session.
Several simple but often misunderstood theories and techniques of risk and risk management will be provided and discussed (engagement cautions, collaboration & contractual issues, deadly sins, communication - periodic and end-of-engagement, testimonials, etc.) as prevention/ mitigation tools.
Finally, we'll discuss practical tips and traps of small business and consultant insurance coverage (liability, auto, workers comp, E&O, etc.).
