Networking is one of the most valuable ways for consultants to expand their business. In spite of all the hype about "low-touch marketing," who you know and who you are referred to is critical for success. Testimonials from credible people are a third leg on the stool. Many consultants will tell you that these are the only ways they get business.
In this month’s workshop we will be reviewing proven ways to win new clients and new engagements.

Workshop 12 - Getting Business Through Networking, Referrals and Testimonials
Networking is one of the most valuable ways for consultants to expand their business. In spite of all the hype about "low-touch marketing," who you know and who you are referred to is critical for success. Testimonials from credible people are a third leg on the stool. Many consultants will tell you that these are the only ways they get business.
This month’s workshop discusses the fundamental value of and successful strategies for the "Art of Networking." We will be reviewing proven ways to win new clients and new engagements:
- Reaching Clients through your Extended Network
- Getting Referrals
- Getting Testimonials
- Leveraging Professional Memberships
