Panel Discussion and Networking Dinner

Come join the Institute of Management Consultants-Southern California Chapter for our first dinner event in several years. The program includes a distinguished panel of experienced consultants (and one Senior Business Executive who was a consultant) discussing their experiences in getting business, managing their business, and tips and tricks they have learned in their successful careers.

The panel will involve a facilitated dialogue designed to engage the panelists in conversations about marketing and sales; consulting execution, and key learnings. Attendees will have the opportunity to engage in a lively question and answer session making the session personalized and valuable for all attendees.

Mae Lon Ding

Mae Lon Ding is a national authority in employee compensation Mae Lon Dingand productivity improvement. She founded her firm, Personnel Systems Associates over 30 years ago. Her client list ranges from pre-ipo technology companies to nonprofit and Fortune 1000. She also is an expert witness in individual and class action litigation, a university instructor, and author of Survey Sources for USÂ and International Pay and Benefit. Lori Heffelfinger, MSOD

Lori Heffelfinger has extensive experience working directly for Fortune 100 and Middle Market companies in the areas of:   Strategy implementation, organizational change, and leadership development.

Prior to founding the Heffelfinger Company, a managerial consultancy, in 2004, Lori led Organizational Effectiveness at Raytheon’s $8B Electronic Systems business and was a Director of Organization & Management Development at Honeywell. She has also held Human Resource leadership roles at Honeywell/Allied Signal, Ashland Chemical, and Monsanto Company.

Lori holds an MS in Organizational Development from Pepperdine University and a BS in Business Administration from the University Nebraska as well as certificates in Coaching and Organization & Systems Development representing 5 years of post-graduate study. Lori has taught in the MBA and MSOD programs at Pepperdine University.

 
Chris Christensen, CMC

Chris Christensen is a national speaker, coach, author and With a background in both technology and business, Mr. Christensen brings a rare blend of expertise and knowledge to the consulting area. He spent thirty years as a senior manager and executive in the aerospace, space-based communications, and national intelligence industries; he then became a business consultant assisting client companies transition from technical responsibilities to effective management, essential business for technical managers, establishment and enhancement of project management offices, and effective business process improvement for public sector and private corporations in petroleum, aerospace, intelligence, communications, and new product development.

He currently teaches classes at Caltech and UCLA Modern Project Management Practices, Essential Business for Technical Managers, Forecasting Future Events and Circumstances, and Lean Six Sigma Green and Black Belt Certification. He co-authored The Certified Quality Process Analyst’s Handbook, and is the author of Solving Organization Problems. He holds an MBA and an MS in Systems Engineering, and is a Certified Project Management Professional (PMP), Six Sigma Black Belt, Certified Quality Engineer, and Certified Quality Manager. He has been a member of IMC for over 20 years and has coached more than a dozen individuals in establishing and improving their consulting practices.
