CYBER BREACHES: Protecting Your Business

CYBER BREACHES: Protecting Your Business and Your Client from Costly Attacks
Don’t let a cyber-attack be your next nightmare. Hacker’s techniques get bolder and more sophisticated each year as they bypass conventional security measures to steal data and disrupt operations. An IBM and Ponemon Institute 2015 study found that the average total cost of a data breach for the participating companies increased 23 percent over the past two years to $3.79 million.
Controlling insider or outside threats requires the integration of multiple security disciplines working together. What do management consultants need to be aware of to protect their practice or their client’s business? How do small businesses protect themselves from these attacks?
On May 12, Marc M. Kolenko, Senior Cyber Security Solutions Architect and Strategist at Information Innovators Inc., will lead a round table discussion on a broad range of topics that will help you create our own cybersecurity plan of action. Marc is a Cyber Security expert with over 30 years of notable success directing a broad range of Enterprise IT initiatives in both the private sector and Government. He will guide the discussion with topics including data integrity and data manipulation, credit card chip-n-pin innovations, extortion/ransomware, unencrypted laptops, Wi-Fi hotspots, and much more.
Marc will also discuss the importance of understanding who poses a threat, the methods hackers prefer, and the importance of monitoring the threat environment. With the increase in volume of security breaches and changes in regulatory requirements, organizations need to be prepared.
Data protection is a business challenge as well as an IT challenge. Make room on your calendar to have your questions and concerns addressed during this wide-ranging presentation and discussion.
