Buyers will increasingly turn to social media and links they provide to scan and research trends, topics and information to support their buying decisions. Mark will begin the evening by using value proposition tools from the Value Proposition Canvas to identify your target market and the specific gains, pains and "jobs to be done" that your potential customer really needs addressed. Once you have pinpointed the “who,” the program will focus on “where” you should be putting your social media efforts and how to determine the best platforms to invest your time.

Jim will demonstrate how to get your brand in front of your ideal clients, how to build an online presence that is cost effective and measurable, and how to build long-lasting business relationships using social media that will lead to increased revenue.

He will address topics and answer questions related to:

About the Speakers

Jim Fuhs, President of Fuhsion Marketing, Swansboro, NC., is a social media expert with over 25 years of business and social media experience. His clients include small business, nonprofits, higher education, and local non-governmental and governmental organizations. Fuhsion designs and maintains Facebook business pages, Facebook Ad campaigns, and provides related marketing services such as print, graphic design, and small business startup packages. He earned a B.S. in Business from Old Dominion University with concentrations in Management and Finance and a Masters of Science in Acquisition and Program Management from the Naval Postgraduate School in Monterey, CA. 

Mark Haas is Founder and President of Research and Organization Management, a strategy and performance management consulting firm in Gaithersburg, MD. He works with executives and Boards to build organizational effectiveness and market value, with an emphasis on science, technology and R&D-centric organizations, mid-market private companies and progressive nonprofits. His clients range from social services, education, healthcare and trade associations to military, engineering, energy and biomedical research. Mark facilitates high-profile sessions ranging from WWIV military strategy and response to nuclear terrorism to STEM education and national health security strategy. He also is an international trainer with clients in US, Europe, Asia and Africa. Mark is a CMC, a Fellow of IMC USA, author of Daily Tips for Consultants, an expert witness, former lead Baldrige quality examiner, and advisor to national technical and professional bodies. He holds degrees in biology from Colgate and planning from Harvard.
