Buzz Session:

As you manage a consulting practice there may be engagements that require more resources than you have available or need skills and experience you do not have.  These situations may require that you build a strategic relationship with other consultants to deliver those engagements.  This “buzz” session will examine these relationships to identify what can go well and not so well: 

 

  • What qualities do you look for and how do you identify the right partner?
  • How do you ensure client acceptance of your project team?
  • What are some of the pitfalls you might encounter and how to avoid them? 

 

Join Charles Dormer as he guides our Buzz Session identifying best practices for successful collaboration, negotiating the essential terms and conditions for success, and avoiding common problems in forming these relationships.

Presenter:  Charles Dormer MS, MPhil

Charles Dormer brings over 35 years of experience in healthcare and pharmaceutical R&D to his executive coaching and consulting work. In his extensive corporate career, Charles’ work included strategy definition and implementation, management, research, operations, business redesign, and portfolio management.

 

Charles’ career transitioned to becoming an executive coach/consultant based on his passion for helping leaders to maximize their productivity and success, develop leadership capabilities, and successfully manage change and uncertainty.

 

He has MS and MPhil (OD) degrees from the University of Pennsylvania. He recently graduated from the Corporate Coach International Program (RTC). He is a member of the International Coaching Federation, the Institute of Leadership and Management, and a board member of the Institute of Management Consultants, Philadelphia Chapter.
