Don't miss our January 14, 2010 Orange County Breakfast Workshop!

How to Get Past "No"
Consulting Workshop on How to Overcome
Client Objections, Rebuttals and Refusals

With Don McNamara, President, Heritage Associates, Inc.
    Thursday, January 14, Mimi's Café, Irvine, 7:00 to 9:00 a.m.

In today's tight economy, consultants cannot afford to simply walk away from funded consulting opportunities when faced with client objections, rebuttals or refusals. Instead, they need to be able to respond to the client "on the fly" with convincing arguments and be able to present creative alternatives. Regrettably, few consultants have the required mindset, sales experience or sales training.

Join us at our OC breakfast meeting on Thursday, January 14, as Don McNamara, a sales leadership consultant, teaches us how to think on our feet to effectively overcome challenging sales situations. The first 25 minutes of his presentation time will cover sales fundamentals applicable to consultants. The remainder of his time will consist of two cases studies, with table discussions and reporting by table leaders.

This will not only be a great learning experience for consultants regardless of specialty, but also an opportunity for you to network with consultants and other self-employed professionals in the Greater Orange County area. Anticipate a lively discussion, and be prepared to share how you have successfully overcome client objections. All consultants are welcome, not just IMC members.
