Tax and Cost Management Strategies for Self-Employed Consultants

The three legs of a successful consulting practice are marketing, service delivery and practice management. Self-employed consultants often overlook cost management and tax strategies, and end up reversing some of the economic gains they made during the year.

Join us for a tax strategies seminar by one of the most highly regarded tax reduction experts. Find out how to uncover thousands of dollars you didn't know were there.  Understand new rules about tax record keeping, better understand travel/entertainment/vehicle/home office and other small business perks.  See how Section 105 plans can save taxes you don't need to pay on medical expenses.

For those of you who haven't been keeping up with the new tax laws, what do we do about the new requirement to issue 1099s to every vendor to whom we have paid more than $600 (will you have to issue a 1099 to Staples, Delta Airlines, your printer, etc.?).

Take Aways

This session has three simple goals:
  1. To help all one-owner and husband-and-wife-owned businesses and 1099 taxpayers keep more of their hard-earned dollars by paying less tax.
  2. To help 1099, one-owner, and husband-and-wife businesses spend less time building the required tax records and more time building their businesses.
  3. To help our target group identify tax law incentives that increase investment returns and build net worth.
