This topic will be presented by Bruce Nilson, a Certified Management Consultant with more than 25 years of experience providing strategy and leadership development services to management teams at all levels.

Successful consulting engagements often depend on how well we can gather good information by facilitating group discussions with clients. How does a facilitator lead an open discussion without losing control of the group? What can you do when you have a bully in the group or someone who tries to hijack the meeting with their own agenda? What are some ways to help the group reach real consensus? Several facilitation techniques will be demonstrated during this interactive session that can increase your confidence in leading groups under various conditions, and increase your value and reputation with clients as an effective team leader.

Bruce Nilson is a Certified Management Consultant with more than 25 years consulting experience to more than 250 businesses and nonprofit organizations in numerous industries. He specializes in strategy and leadership development and regularly facilitates sessions with both small and large groups at all levels including executives, managers and board members. He also facilitates meetings between organizations that include his client's strategic partners, vendors and key customers. Bruce also serves as adjunct faculty at several private colleges where he facilitates MBA courses and has been a speaker at national and international conferences including IMC and ICMCI.
