John Newman leads turnarounds. Since 1985 he has been serving as interim CEO or as advisor to the CEO of troubled companies -- businesses that ranged from manufacturing to transportation, from agricultural to professional, and from wholesale to retail. They all shared one common trait: they were teetering on the edge of bankruptcy.
John has a 92% success rate. Most of his prior clients are not just alive, but thriving.
In 1975, as CEO, he led the founding of Ozark Cooperative Warehouse, a distributor of natural foods serving the Central and Southeast parts of the nation. After that, he worked for three years in Public Accounting, followed by three years as CFO for the American subsidiary of an international transportation company.
In 1995 Newman founded Presidents' Advisory Groups, coaching CEOs and leading monthly roundtable meetings in Northwest Arkansas.
Besides a BSBA from the University of Arkansas and an MBA from UCLA, he is a Certified Management Consultant, a Paul Harris Fellow of the Rotary Foundation, and a CPA. |
