with Kevin Johnson, Portland Development Commission
Kevin Johnson is the Advanced Manufacturing
cluster liaison at the Portland Development Commission, where he has worked
since 2006.  His primary responsibility is to support the retention,
expansion and recruitment of advanced manufacturing firms and advance the
organization of the manufacturing cluster in the Portland metro area.  Kevin is
actively engaged in enhancing the regional manufacturing supply chain and
building connections with the wind energy industry, where supply chain
opportunities are enormous. The Portland Development Commission partners with many of the influential business agencies like "Business Oregon in the region. The manufacturing cluster has a major focus on:
    Workforce Planning and Development R&D Business Efficiency (Lean Six Sigma) Supply Chain management
The advanced manufacturing cluster has a specific desire in garnering resources and help in promoting the growth of manufacturing in the region    October 16, 2012
