He has been recognized numerous times throughout his career, including selection as Chairman of the Board and Chief Executive Officer of the Institute of Management Consultants USA (IMC USA), the premier professional organization and sole certifying body for management consultants in the United States. He also earned their Certified Management Consultant (CMC®) designation.
Dr. McNaughton holds a Ph.D. and an M.A. in Human & Organizational Systems from the Fielding Graduate University, and a B.S. in Physics from the U.S. Naval Academy. He is a faculty member at TUI, Capella, and Central Michigan Universities. He and his wife Sylvia live in the San Diego area and have three adult children. In their leisure time they enjoy traveling, reading, working out, charitable and philanthropic activities, gardening, golf, and reruns of JAG and the West Wing.
