A recognized leader in organizational redesign and change, he consults to educational and government organizations, and large and mid-cap companies; his clients include Los Angeles Unified School District, Chapman University, U.S. Air Force, U.S. Navy, Government of Guam, and a number of the Fortune 500.
He has been quoted in numerous newspapers and magazines including the Wall Street Journal, CBS MoneyWatch, Fast Company, Atlanta Business Chronicle and the Christian Science Monitor, and has appeared on Time-Warner Television and been a guest on numerous radio shows.
He currently serves as Immediate Past Chair of the Institute of Management Consultants USA, the certifying body and professional organization for management consultants in the USA; Secretary to the International Council of Management Consulting Institutes (ICMCI), the global standards body for management consultants; and Lead Trustee to ICMCI. He has earned the Certified Management Consultant (CMC®) certification.
Dr. McNaughton holds a Ph.D. and an M.A. in Human and Organizational Systems from the Fielding Graduate University, and a B.S. in Physics from the U.S. Naval Academy. He is a faculty member at Trident University.
