A 1972 graduate of Auburn University, Davis is also a professional engineer registered in Alabama. He was a manufacturing executive with 3M prior to opening his consulting practice in the early 1980's. He has served clients in 35 states and on 3 continents ranging from Vermont to Malaysia. Davis was raised on a family farm in rural south Alabama and brings the common sense and work ethic of that background to his consulting practice.
Davis is actively involved in his church where he leads a Bible Study class of adults each Sunday. He has volunteered his consulting services for a local workshop that provided employment for the physically and mentally challenged.
Since 1984 Davis Woodruff has been showing companies how to be the low cost, high quality and environmentally responsible leader in their industry. He has over 80 published articles to his credit and is a peer reviewer for El Sevier Press scientific publications. Davis provides continuing education classes for professionals through the Auburn University Samuel Ginn College of Engineering.
