Developer and Facilitator of Middlesex County Chamber of Commerce's "Side Street to Main Street" Business and Leadership Development Program, 1995 to present. The year-long program assists minority business people in starting or growing a business in CT. The program is funded by a generous grant from Aetna, Inc. and has won a variety of awards from the Middlesex NAACP, the CT district of the US Small Business Administration and the Connecticut Economic Resource Center. Jim was named Minority Small Business Advocate of the Year for 2007 in CT. 2011 marks the 15th consecutive year of the program.
