John Schuyler is a decision consultant, evaluation engineer, and investor. His work has been in feasibility analysis, appraisals, corporate planning, and evaluation software development. John teaches mostly petroleum-industry courses in risk and decision analysis in affiliation with PetroSkills, LLC. Since 1990 he has taught approximately 280 courses in 34 countries. The courses are about capital investment analysis and other project and portfolio decisions. John's previous work experience includes: VP and petroleum evaluation engineer for Security Pacific Bank in Houston and L.A., planning and evaluation analyst for Cities Service Oil Company, business systems manager for Cities Service Petrochemicals, and senior management consultant for a national accounting firm. He is a CAM, CCP, CMA, CMC, DRMP, PE, PMP, CPIM and PMP and member of eight professional organizations. John is the revisions author of Decision Analysis for Petroleum Exploration, author of Risk and Decision Analysis in Projects, and has written over 40 articles, conference papers, and handbook chapters.
