Dr. Mann is the Chairman of EnCompass Knowledge Systems, Inc., a provider of a new generation of web-enabled systems for corporate governance and organizational performance management, and an Adjunct Professor of Industrial and Systems Engineering at the University of Southern California, where he developed and teaches a graduate course in the Strategic Management of Technology. He has been the C.E.O. and an outside director of public and closely held companies and has lead corporate restructures. He has also been an adviser to firms ranging from start-ups to major-multinational corporations, and government agencies around the globe on issues of business performance, organization, economic development, and technology management. He received B.S. and M.S. in Electrical Engineering from the Caltech, a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering and Physics from USC, and an Executive M.B.A. from UCLA.
