Mr. Carlson has extensive experience spanning over 30 years;

Insurance industry: 18 years experience managing over $250 million in revenue with Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Illinois.

TPA/Managed Care: COO of a third party administrator (TPA) managed care subsidiary of the largest hospital system in Texas.

Private industry: Designed, implemented and administered benefit and compensation plans for 1,300 employees located in 17 states.

He served on the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania’s advisory board and has been an adjunct professor at the University of Houston and Roosevelt University teaching The Design and Administration of Employee Benefit Plans, Finance for the Non-financial Executive and Health Care Economics.

Mr. Carlson develops and teaches employee benefit programs for the International Foundation of Employee Benefit Plans (IFEBP), has published numerous articles and been a speaker at regional and national conferences.
