I was originally trained as a medical technologist and worked as a laboratory scientist for 6 years before being promoted into management. A family move brought me to Charlotte in 1990 where I developed a well-respected, profitable business for Presbyterian Health Services.
I continued to broaden my experience at Premier, Inc., a group purchasing organization for hospitals, where I led consulting engagements focused on process improvement. This work led me to start a small firm to focus exclusively on the unique challenges and opportunities of medical laboratories.
In addition, I am certified in Six Sigma and Lean Manufacturing Techniques.
Social/Volunteer Organizations
I enjoy volunteering through my church, where I also lead the instruction of confirmation for nine years.

The laboratory industry is highly regulated and complex, yet we are experienced and knowledgeable about the complexities associated with clinical integration of laboratory service delivery, leadership, and management.
