The Alliance Of Arizona Nonprofits Collaborates with IMC
June 2, 2009

WHO/WHAT:

Life can be hard enough for nonprofit leaders, but these economic times put added stress on finances, while the demand for services increases. In response to this need, the Arizona Institute of Management Consultants (IMC) has partnered with the Alliance of Arizona Nonprofits (Alliance) in a program to connect nonprofit organizations with IMC’s broad scope of expert consultants, and bring added brainpower to Arizona nonprofits. IMC consultants will augment and enrich the Alliance’s Executive Service Corps (ESC) Arizona capacity-building consulting program, and provide a breadth of enhanced services to Maricopa County-based nonprofits.

BENEFITS:

  • Nonprofit managers gain access to experienced new resources willing to provide expertise at below-market rates.
  • Nonprofit board members build relationships with professional consultants while receiving cost effective help for their organizations.
  • Nonprofit organizations get the help they need to understand and meet the challenges they face in building a sustainable future.

WHEN:

Beginning immediately, the Alliance of Arizona Nonprofits can connect Maricopa County-based nonprofit organizations with IMC consultants through the ESC Arizona program, and start building the professional relationships that help organizations survive and thrive.

WHERE:

Phoenix metro area

COST:

The size of the organization’s operating budget, along with the project scope and the estimated length of time to complete the project determines the fees charged. Additionally, Alliance members access the consulting services at a preferred rate.

HOW TO GET STARTED:

For more information, please contact Doug Zogby, president of IMC AZ at 480-215-9518, dzogby@gotgameconsulting.com, or Frank Mittin, Director of Nonprofit Resources, Alliance of Arizona Nonprofits, 602-279-2966 X17, frankm@arizonanonprofits.org.
