Plan to Expand and Go International
#April 9, 2010 Breakfast
Presented by: Jim Pipper

You might have products in your portfolio that can be easily sold out-of-country but you just haven’t inquired. There might be an industry in a foreign country that seeks consultants with your expertise. And, in all likelihood, one of your clients has a desire to expand into the international marketplace and just isn’t sure how to start. If any of the above scenarios apply to you, then you need to attend our breakfast meeting on April 9.

IMC-AZ Went on a Field Trip in March
Understanding yourself and your management style will make you a better consultant and help you make more money. Assessments provide unbiased and objective insight into how you, your team partner or employee interact with others and manage your business and projects. Understanding the results allows you to take advantage of your character strengths and change or mitigate the effects of your limitations.

During March meeting, the experts at TTI Performance Systems lead us through the process of completing a personal assessment, from what to consider when looking for a company or individual to complete yours, to what to expect and how to make the best use of the results.

Those who attended the meeting received a FREE assessment of themselves. The end of the meeting was spent showing each attendee how to understand what the results of their assessment were telling them about themselves.

Effective Leadership Communication:
Engaging Employees, Key
Stakeholders and the Media

In an increasingly challenging, global business world, leadership success hinges on effective communication that engages employees, key stakeholders and the media. Thunderbird’s Leadership Communication program will deepen your skills in communicating your message with clarity and focus using a practical framework.

The program explores how the news media relates to your business and how you can use media interactions to communicate your message. Find answers to questions like, "How can I communicate with employees to shift them from participation to commitment? What leads a ‘public’ to become a ‘key stakeholder’? What information should I share with the media?” You will also practice delivering your message
on-camera as you expand your communication skills.
